An overview of some of the ways that pioneers are exploring the digitalisation of the food production supply chain
This event provides an opportunity to explore and discuss emergent ideas for digital collaboration opportunities in the food and beverage sector. The EPSRC-funded interdisciplinary Internet of Food Things Network Plus will present a short report on the topic. Entitled "Digital collaboration in the food and drink production supply chain" the report captures a range of scenarios in the sector that represent a range of models for digital collaboration. Based upon these interviews with pioneers in the sector the report makes a range of recommendations on how to proceed.
The aim of this Networking event is to present these outcomes, and then follow up with a panel discussion on the emergent ideas, in order to draw the audience into a wider discussion on future opportunities for digital collaboration. The objective is to cover ground ranging from data trust concepts to cooperative platforms and everything in between.
